Three high school seniors attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough: let's throw a party that no one will forget, but nothing could prepare them for this party. Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born. A warning to parents and police everywhere.

More or less something you'd find on a home video camera movie and probably done ten times better.

I had little hope of liking this movie and ended up loving it. Total guilty pleasure, but a really effective teen party flick. The party is just crazy. Sadly, I will likely watch this again hence the 4 stars.

Skip It – Project X (2012) 88 min. Filmed like a documentary and made to believe that this actually happened, three teenagers “host” a house party to end all house parties. Hundreds of people show up trashing house and neighbourhood. If I had any respect for the creators of this film, I would think that the film is an allegory of sin and how it grows and grows into an uncontrollable force. But hey, I give these guys too much credit. In fact, the film is just another excuse to demonstrate the lewdness of today’s society, especially in our young ones. The film could’ve been shot into a 23 minute two reel short that included the introduction of the characters, a few minutes of the “party”, and the concluding “moral” thoughts. But all we have here is party scene after party scene; a party I wouldn’t want to be invited to.

Pseudo documentary style delivers the goods...it beats " Animal House",
..and with cute breasts too.
..( P.S. The NYPL has a 5-star rating system. I gave this 3 & a half stars.)
