Follow anti-hero policeman Aurelio Zen through this dark series that looks under the covers of Italian society. Ratking, the first Zen novel, won the Golden Dagger Award for Best Crime novel of the Year in 1988. The 11th and final novel was published after Dibdin's death in 2007. The first three novels, Ratking, Vendetta and Cabal, were adapted for a 2011 BBC production, starring Rufus Sewell as Zen.
