Walking Disaster
Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster.

Can you love someone too much?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.

A patron review from the Adult Summer Reading Game: "This is the second book in the series. I enjoyed it too, but the first was still my favourite."

Book 2 of Maddox Brothers series, preceded by Beautiful Disaster and followed by Beautiful Wedding and then Beautiful Oblivion. This is the same story as Beautiful Disaster but told by Travis. I preferred the first book, but I still enjoyed this one, although a bit less. I especially liked the epilogue section and can't wait for other stories involving the other Maddox brothers - Trenton is next.

I would give this book no less than 4 stars. It was a good book. This book made me want to read the first book in the series to find out how the story was told from Abby's point of view. Although some of the things in the story cause me to question some things about the characters. In the end as I reflect, I understood the characters were the way they were because of some of the circumstances they were brought up in or raised around. Some of the things we would see as character flaws, actually served them well in the end. I like this book as well because it shows that someone can change and grow in their thinking and actions. You don't have to stay stagnant.

I liked this book better than the first one.

This book delves into the mind of Travis this time. I loved it! I found that this book gave insight into things that weren't covered or explored in Beautiful Disaster. Both books overlapped and covered events that were pivotal in the development of the story. The author did a wonderful job in bringing the characters full circle.

While I did enjoy this book, I did not feel it had the same dynamic feel that the first in the series did.
