Crookedstar—leader of RiverClan—stands at the head of his Clan as one of the most revered warriors in the forest. "You must promise me," Mapleshade lowered her voice, "that you will be loyal to your Clan above all the other things. What you want for yourself is nothing compared to the needs of your Clan. Nothing remember?" Her green gaze bore into his. "Do you make that promise?" Crookedkit's heart quickened. "Yes" He unsheathed his claws. "Yes, I do!"

Add a CommentThese super editions always get me, Bluestars Prophecy made me cry for thirty seconds every two minutes, but for this one, I calmly read all of it then, when I finished the book, broke down and cried for twenty minutes. I would really like to see a book about Tallstar, he was a great character that would leave room for an amazing story. On top of that, we have seen from Thunderclan's point of view (the whole series), Shadowclan's (Yellowfang's Secret), and Riverclan's (what do you think? :p) but no Windclan, who deserve to be explored farther than reading the list of warriors, queens, apprentices and elders at the start of each book. (Five stars on this book!! * * * * *)
Crookedstar had a bad and good life. I wish Silverstream would become a warrior faster so she can be the leader of riverclan!
I read all the warrior books except for Yellowfangs secret! Its on hold. Warriors are awesome!
Yay! I was born in this book. u know cause I'm SILVERKITten123
This book was AMAZING! I had no idea how crookedstar's background life was so harsh and so sad. Poor Crookedstar experienced so much pain and loss! This is the best book out of all the super edition warrior books! I cannot express how much I love the Warriors series, its like my childhood!
O.o
I have read all the special editions and this one is one of the BEST!!! :) I feel sorry for Crookedstar when his mother ignored him when his jaw got crooked.
This book is very well written...I have read every single warriors book ever! They are my favorite series! I felt sorry for him when his mother changed his name and ignored him all the time like he was some contagious disease! Me to...I love seeing stuff from RiverClan's point of view, not ThunderClan's. Not that I don't like them!
I love seeing this from Riverclan's point of view not Thunderclans!
WOW....Erin Hunter is a genius!
