Looks like "chuckamundo" (commenting below) doesn't realize the Harry Potter series is set in England. Or maybe doesn't realize that the language English actually, you know, comes from England. Or maybe is a troll? I can't decide. Personally, I love British slang.... The Harry Potter movies are okay but I love the books so much better.

Special affects REALLY kewl, character dialog and slang is REALLY terrible and annoying unless you're from England. What is WRONG with the Harry Potter producers and putting this kind of "english" in a movie? It is as bad as L. A. black gang slang! These professionals SHOULD realize there's english outside their little country.

Of all the films this is my favorite one, although I love all of them. This film marks the turning point from being a children's series to a young adult one by becoming a little darker. It was a good transitional film aimed to a little more mature audience. Alfonso Cuarón, director, gave the series a new perspective and tone, which was refreshing, intriguing and amusing. Who does not like a plot in a magical world with dementors ("soulless creatures"), murderers, werewolves, animaguses (wizards that can turn into an animal or magical creature), griffins (magical creatures with the front legs, wings and head of a giant eagle, and the body and hind legs, and tail of a lion), betrayals, and wizards of course? Great movie!!! I recommend watching the movie first, and reading the book after; that way you can still get pleasantly surprised.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SPANISH: Esta película cinematográfica es mi favorita en la serie, aunque me encantan todas. Alfonso Cuarón, director mexicano, le dio a la serie una nueva perpectiva y nuevo tono, lo cual fue refrescante, intrigante y divertido. ¿A quién lo le gusta una trama en un mundo mágico con dementores (“creaturas sin alma”), asesinos, hombres lobos, animaguses (magos con la abilidad de convertirse en animals o creaturas mágicas), griffins (creaturas mágicas con extremidades delanteras, alas y una cabeza de águila gigante, y cuerpo, extremidades traseras y cola de león), con traiciones y magos por supuesto? ¡¡Es una grán película!! Yo recomiendo ver el filme primero y leer el libro después; de esa manera aun pueden ser gratamente sorprendidos.

I did enjoy all the mysterious things they had to solve in the film like to prove if sirius black was innocent and facing all new wizardry evil just a very fun an good movie to keep your attention an imagintion

i just finished it, an awesome movie with more awesome visual effects. the end was clever of how they used spells and the maurder map for credit.

This is my favourite film out of the first four. It's my fav movie at the moment. It is one great film.

One of my favorites in the series and a real standout I think. The plot and special effects stayed top notch as in the 2nd film. The series takes a slightly darker turn and stays fairly mature compared to the first movie. the characters grow physically and in the movie start to develop more of an arcane arsenal. I wasn't disappointed. Well worth watching.

I enjoyed this the most out of the first three. It is a decent film for the family.
