First part was way better. Very good special effect but very slow and some places very boring story line in this second part.

This sequel is better than the first in special effects though the ending was rushed and compressed with the next Hunger Games in mind.

This sequel takes a darker turn for the Hunger Games franchise. We see Katniss come to terms of PTSD and memories of the games, and how she gathers courage to survive being sent back into it again. A couple deleted scenes provide for a better storyline and should have been included in the actual movie (spoiler: the conversation between President Snow and the new game maker).

I must admit that I didn't think it was going to be so good, what with the book having so much detail. But I was pleasantly surprised and oddly enough, like this movie better than the first. Ended on a great note and I cannot wait for Mockingjay part 1 and 2 to come out!

This is the second film and to be honest, I'm not sure what I expected but I felt rather disjointed. I felt gaps in the storyline (probably why I should read the books). I guess I thought there would have been a bit more explanation of what happened to them when they returned from the Hunger Games. I felt like at times I was constantly trying to catch up. Didn't feel that way in the 1st film. Overall a good film. I'm still interested in seeing the last of the trilogy when it comes out. I am intrigued about how they visually will go for that one.
