The Hunger Games
Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a Victor's Tour of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, The Quarter Quell, and announces a competition that could change Panem forever.

I never actually finished this movie. I got about half way through but i had to stop there because of the violence. I have seen Hunger Games and Mocking Jay but neither bothered me. I don't plan on finishing the movie. It haunted me and got five hours of sleep because of the movie. I wouldn't recommend this movie if you get scared easily or if you have a problem with blood or violence.

The first hour of the movie is just foreplay. The story takes off when the hunger game contestants land on the island. Not bad, there after. However, it just kind of abruptly ends and you now need to see HG3. Kind of guessed at PSH's character's role, not sure if it was telegraphed or just intuition. Interesting, while looking back now, you can see JLaw is a great actress, but she is is also blossoming into the beautiful woman she is today. Great supporting cast: Donald Sutherland is despicable, Woody is awesome and Stanley Tucci conquers yet another character.

Even more predictable than the first. When they go to the island to fight, then it gets interesting but by then its time to end the movie.

Amazing movie! :) Great if you love somewhat violent/romance movies that make you think about what could happen in the future.
