This is story of small town poverty stricken characters forced to act out of desperation. Sam Rockwell is always worthwhile to watch. Jeffrey Wright is one of those skilled chameleon types who can handle so many different styles and shows up here almost unrecognizable. It's not an easy film to watch but the performances are good and on that level I was engaged. Without spoiling anything I'll say I couldn't buy what the ending seemed to imply.
For an even better and certainly grittier story in a similar setting, see "Out of the Furnace". Has a terrific cast including powerful performances by Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Willem Dafoe, Forrest Whittaker, Sam Shepard, and especially Woody Harrelson.

Personally just could not get into this movie. A few parts seemed like they were going to be good but then got to a part where you just want to fast forward

The movie is very slow and seeing that it is nearly two hours long, it could have used some editing. It's also one of those movies with no clear-cut conclusion which is another reason I gave it a low rating. The acting was good, but that's not enough to make a good movie for me.

Way too slow moving for me! The plot was good the execution left a lot to be desired.

A single shot is kinda like the red neck version of No Country For Old Men. Sam Rockwell plays a hunter that accidentally shoots a woman he thought was a deer. Then he finds she has a bag of money, well, it's more like a box, anyway. And then like always, there are some people want their money back. It is slow and a little confusing in parts, but Sam Rockwell fans will appreciate the range he is able to show off in a smaller project like this.
