I am a fan of the Smiths but I had a terribly hard time reading this. A lot of patting himself on the back. Very revisionist.I sloughed on to the end hoping there would be so some form of redemption or self analysis. Anything! But no--just disappointment. Well at least his lyrics are great! Skip this 'biography'

Enjoyed it a lot, but this one is really just for die-hard Morrissey fans!

Call me prejudiced but he's as whiny in his memoir as in his public persona.
