All-around good action movie, just needed a bit more plot. Lot of action as you would expect from Wolvering visiting Japan. Make sure you watch the credits to see what is to come (typical for a Marvel/Disney movie).

We watched half of it & turned it off. Couldn't really get into it. Really wanted to like it, but it was just too predictable.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. Very predictable but still entertaining.

Guess I'm to much of an X-Men fan to enjoy a mediocre Wolverine even with Hugh Jackman.

Promising 2/3s undone by a terrible final act. The Wolverine stand alone movies continue to underwhelm.

Good superhero movie. Jackman IS Wolverine. That being said, I still haven't LOVED the way they have told his story. Big comic fan, AND X-Men fan, so I'm probably too judgmental. Good action and effects, forgettable story. Worth watching, but nothing groundbreaking here.

I don't get it. I found the movie to be an absolute snoozer.

I always enjoyed the Marvel's versions of Wolverine entering into the Asian, Japanese scene; and especially since I've been over engrossed into the romancing sagas of samurai and ronin, that is the warriors seeking honor...and that this has meant much to me for a number of years... in my watching foreign films of the various natures. This particular movie adapted Logan's side that I dearly enjoy, and how I generally view life; so as where a series of events that one has been driven to, embraces mind altering, dire disrepair and despair, or so it would seem; and in it, one abandons prior past easily accessible violently feral, beserking moments, in favor and in pursuit in that, to maybe find one's own personal humble honor. -Xandor Who; jjm

A Spiritual Rendition of Wolverines' Raging Soma and Soul Self: Logan gains sapience not from adamantium claws... but rather, he formulates frame of mind, from his own innately made mind, to foster for himself, mastery of benign Bushido bylaws. -X; Who

Logan (to Mariko's fiancé, who's just been caught with two strippers): "Now, call me old fashioned, but I thought being engaged meant you were done with this kind of bullsh*t." Noburo: "I am the Minister of Justice! Do you have any idea what I could do to you?" Logan: "Really? You're gonna try and talk tough standing there in your red underwear?"
