an unfortunate film which proves that more is not merrier and a gross of comedians do not guarantee comedy.

Thought I'd give this one a pass,.. based on these reviews. However it was right there on the shelf,.. so 'what the heck'. And it was poor,.. but with my low expectations was 'O.K.' to pass the time (unproductively). ...but NOT recommended.

It's the movie equivalent of a stand-up performance with none of the continuity. Just random jokes strung together with lots of cameos and spots for Adam Sandler's friends. Oh, and plenty of juvenile potty humor.

Has horrible humor. it doesn't even fit into the scene.

Ironically, a movie not for grown-ups. By that I mean its sensibility is that of a cartoon meant for children who don't need a coherent narrative. Unfortunately, the jokes and gags -- other than the simple fart jokes -- won't really be understood by kids. It's the worst of both worlds: in-jokes, sexual innuendo, '80s and pop culture references that will only be understood by adults, shot in a style that is so painful it can only be withstood by kids.

Now I know why Time Magazine (Dec 30, 2013) rated this movie one of the worst of the year. Loved the first movie and this was horrible. Wasn't worth my time to even borrow it for free from the library.

Awesome movie! Funny all the way through. Laughed the whole time. In my opinion better then the first. :)

The first grown ups was a lot better than the second one. Don't waste your time

I returned grown ups 2 on 1/7/2014. I thought i renewed it until 1/10/2014?

I can not believe they massacred this movie! Why make it if it was going to be that bad?! No wonder Rob Schneider stayed away, there was absolutely no point in them making this movie. The 1st was 100% better than part 2, they should've left well enough alone. Watch this only to see how bad it is.
