Another great season. Keep 'em coming. Can't say enough good things about Walking Dead.

I'm trying to figure out why this series is so compelling and must-see viewing. I think it's the characters, acting and storylines which incorporate more than basic good vs. evil into the story. It's the shade of meaning, making life decisions, when there's more nuance than just right vs. wrong. The writers have the chosen to present the characters with dilemmas which have excruciating consequences, no matter what they decide. For instance, most shows don't have the courage to kill off main characters, and though this can be painful for viewers, it's shows commitment to real character & story development. Can't wait for the season 4!

I'm sure everyone knows the content of this series. It's about a small group of people surviving during a zombie apocalypse. Phenomenal series, the acting is a bit off but the story will grab 9 out of 10 people that enjoy suspense and horror genres.

I prefer to tell people how to watch this series. Do not base your opinion on this show from the first episode, it is rather slow-moving and it might seem trite at first. Once you complete the second episode you will be hooked.

Brilliant way of showing the lie that ‘terrorism’ makes us, USA, right. Here we have propaganda by the Governor saying that the prison people are terrorists when, of course, it’s the other way around. Strange how Americans don’t get it..... especially the Tea Party who say they are populists. >>>>> Much better season than 2 because of less ‘soap’, but still too much. They are trying to work out human issues, but, not ones that would naturally come with this kind of story. >>>>>>>> Definitely got the fx DOWN! >>>>> Seems they got over losing Durabont by having more Kirkman.

The show is supposed to be different from the comics or else everybody would be bored.

I'm surprised the show has sustained my interest. For one, I don't like zombie movies and I don't like constant gunfire. But when that's balanced out with the characters, the Twilight Zone-like atmosphere and the intelligence of the series, I have to give this show major props. Scott Wilson and Laurie Holden deserve Emmys. The show is fearless about axing major characters to propel the story. Love the Michonne character, btw.

The first 2 seasons were pretty tepid for me, but season 3 finally became the show that was "must-see tv" for me. Perhaps it was the addition of a genuine villian in the Governor that added a much needed story arc other than the day to day survival of the previous 2 seasons. Another interesting addition was the character of Michonne. The zombie's finally became the pests (deadly pests, but still pests) they always had been, and the fight for survival was now between 2 human factions instead of the ambling dead. Well done season that doesn't shy away from killing off major characters. My only disappointment with this season was that for the past 2 seasons the characters had been talking about winter coming and how hard it would be. I wanted to see that. Instead, it just jumped forward 8 months and it's spring again.

Without a doubt, “The Walking Dead” is one of the best shows out there right now. I am glad we caught up with characters from seasons past and were introduced to some interesting new ones as well. I look forward to Season 4!
