I love all of Rainbow Rowell's books, but this is my favorite. Love the characters, especially Cath. I can't wait until Rainbow writes her Baz and Simon book (release in October 2015)!

Fangirl and Eleanor & Park are entirely different stories, but the character development and chemistry are amazing in both. Fangirl was an awesome read. Really enjoyable.

This book is so extremely realistic and truthful that it makes me giggle. It is an incredibly feel-good book that I highly recommend to all teenage book lovers. Sometimes it is hard to find a good book in the teen section and this is one of golden few.

I loved this book the first time I read it, and each time I re-read it it is just as amazing! The characters are all extremely memorable, and Cath is one of the most relatable characters I've ever read. Rowell develops her relationships with her twin sister, boyfriend, and everyone else in her life perfectly, and I had trouble not thinking of her as a real person. As in all good books, Cath wasn't the only one who developed over time- all of the characters had to find their place and learn from their mistakes. Though many people weren't extremely fond of them, I also loved the snippets of Simon Snow fanfic before each chapter- they were quick, enjoyable to read, and subtly connected to Cath's life outside fanfiction. This book has been my favorite for almost a year now, and I don't see that changing- Rowell has written an unforgettable story with even more unforgettable characters!

This is one of my favorite books. It is a awesome, cute, and so relatable. Cath and Levi are the worlds cutest couple (bookwise).

This is the first book I've readf by Rianbow Rowell, but not the last. She's got a great voice, her characters are interesting and real. I know nothing about fanfiction but it didn't matter - everyone who has ever struggled to fit in can understand why fanfic was so important to Cath. Loved the "excerpts" from the Simon Snow series - I woudl buy Cath's and Wren"s version of the story.

This was my first Rainbow Rowell book I read and it is my absolute favorite one! It's probably because I can relate to being a fangirl, and also have been a huge fan fiction writer myself back in High school. I think everyone should have emergency dance parties all the time!!!!

The first Rainbow Rowell book I've ever read. How do I start?
This book was so relatable. Is it weird to like the dad? I mean he sounded like the best dad ever.
Cath is so adorably awkward and love her personality. I especially love her and Levi. They are beyond the cutest couple ever. They're so sweet and perfect for each other that I would've have given this book 5/5 stars just for that, if only this book was longer because I was so not ready for it to end! why didn't anyone warn me about that?!
Cute. Adorable. Refreshing read. definatly worth the wait.

Adults won't get this book. They won't. Fanfiction isn't something that they're familiar with; in fact a lot of people aren't. I'm not into fantasy fanfiction, I do read fanfic about bands and music, and so do a lot more teens than people realize. I was waiting so long to check this book out, and I wasn't disappointed. I honestly couldn't stand Cath at the beginning of the book, but by the end, I started to like her a little more. It's one of the best books I've read in awhile, and I can't wait to see what else Rainbow Powell puts out.

"Months are different in college, especially freshman year. Too much happens. Every freshman month equals six regular months—they're like dog months.”

But there's nothing more profound than creating something out of nothing.
Think about it, Cath. That's what makes a god - or a mother. There's nothing more intoxicating than creating something from nothing. Creating something form yourself!

How do you not like the Internet? That's like saying, 'I don't like things that are convenient. And easy. I don't like having access to all of mankind's recorded discoveries at my fingertips. I don't like light. And knowledge.

In the age of tumblr, fanfiction and fanart, Cath is a relateable character for any teen who has geeked out over a book, tv show or movie. Starting her freshman year of college, Cath is facing several new obstacles. Her twin sister Wren doesn't want to room with her so “they can meet other people.” She is dealing with her father’s mental illness. And college has taken time away from completing her epic online fanfiction Carry On written in the world of Simon Snow (a character reminiscent Harry Potter). On top of it all, Cath might be falling in love with her roommate's boyfriend.
