completely forgettable for someone who has never played the game (or was it just I book I haven't read?) Pitt tries to look sexy. Kills zombies.

Outstanding movie! And I'm a Walking Dead and SOA diehard fan. I will be adding this movie to my collection. The idea behind it makes alot of sense to me, too. I like Brad Pitt but not a diehard fan but I thought he was absolutely great in this film.

When I first heard that a movie was gonna be made of World War Z, I was rather ecstatic due to it being one of my favorite novels.

But when it finally came time to see the movie, that feeling ended up turning to one of disappointment. The zombies felt and looked awful, it didn't even touched the source material which would of proven to be a whole lot better than what was given. It just ended up feeling like Brad Pitt feat. CGI Zombies on a budget.

So yeah I would not recommend this movie to anyone unless you're looking or a quick action flick.

Just another epic advertisement for Big Pharma. In this Corporate AmeriKKKa commercial our elite slave masters in real life want us to take all these vaccines in real life that give you these diseases, not cure them. The only difference this time is the fact that this one is featuring zombies aka it's time for every slave aka you and me in real life worldwide to DIE aka be DEPOPULATED period,BUT YOU DON'T HEAR ME THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brad's not gonna get an Oscar playing another stereotypical lead action guy (the 'brilliant' badass character, retiring to flip pancakes for his two brat daughters, but asked to come back to save the world). There is zero chemistry between Pitt and Mireille Enos. The nerd Harvard grad is another insulting character to throw in. This whole story is too little and too late with such great series as 'The Returned' and 'The Walking Dead'. This has nothing to offer. Angelina's in the lead for the next Oscar, Brad. Oh wait! You got one as producer of that slave movie. Ok, I guess you're even. Angelina's a better actor, though.

This was a decent movie. I have watched it more than once because it isn't too scary compared to some other zombie movies. It wasn't as good as I expected, since there wasn't an on-going flow of zombie action, since I think the movie was going for a saving-the-world kind of movie rather than a zombie-hunting kind of movie. Still, this movie had me on the edge of my seat (well, actually, it had me sitting back and with my legs off the floor) whenever there was a scene with zombies. But altogether, this is a movie you should see and I am really excited for the sequel.

So i had this bad dream in which i was watching a bad american version of 28 days later. Scene by scene it followed like blue print. Except nowhere near as good...Then i realized i wasn't asleep, i was merely watching this horrible movie.
Read the book. Watch 28 days later... both are far more gratifying than this...It is to zombies, what Twilight is to vampires...

I never in a million years thought that I would watch a zombie movie. My husband said this received good reviews so he wanted to watch it. I thought that I would give it 10 minutes of my time and then I'd start reading a book. I ended up sitting through the whole movie so that is a recommendation in itself.

I can't compare the action to "fast moving" zombies as some other reviewers have done because I am a zombie "newbie". I did like the fact that the zombie state was induced by a virus as that seems more "credible" than some other options. I liked the special effects and the characters were fairly well developed. The movie was not as gory as I was expecting and yet was still suspenseful. Not really a family movie, however, unless everyone is over the age of 12.

The beginning is the best part of this movie. It doesn’t take long to realize that little is original here. If you’re looking for a catastrophic virus/apocalyptic film, stick with “I Am Legend,” and for zombies, AMC’s show, “The Walking Dead.”

When nine people agree on something, it’s the tenth man’s responsibility to disagree no matter how improbable the idea.

When the email came through that zombies were on their way, the tenth man proposed that they prepare for a zombie invasion, no matter how ridiculous the idea seemed.

If the tenth man hadn’t spoken, Israel would have been overrun by zombies like the rest of the world.

The tenth man forced Israel to consider an alternative view point, something we humans usually resist.

Andrew Fassbach (Harvard Scientist): Mother Nature is a serial killer. No one's better, or more creative. Like all serial killers, she can't help but have the urge to get caught or what good would all those brilliant crimes do if no one takes the credit? So she leaves crumbs. Now the hard part, is seeing the crumbs, the clues there. Sometimes it's in your thoughts where the most brutal part of a virus is. Turns out to be the chink in its armor. And she loves disguising her weaknesses as strengths. She's a bitch.
