Mark Strong is as bad ass as James McAvoy is determined. I really liked this story. Not one usually for action adventure but this movie had BY FAR my absolute favorite shoot out scene ever. Want a good movie to just entertain you and distract you from life for a few... get this. I don't think you will be disappointed. (I am biased a bit towards Strong and McAvoy tho. Love them both)

Good cops n robbers drama. But could have spent more time on the history of the players, but the story was good

A very average crime drama/action movie. I like the cast, and the acting was decent enough, but the movie just misfired. The action and storyline just didn't shine. Feels overlong and slow most of the time. Not worthless, but not recommended.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.

The plot was good but viewers were kept in the dark on the history of detective Lewinsky and criminal Sternwood until well into the film. By then, I was turned off by the self-centered, angry, lousy-shot and reckless detective. What a shame.

A big disappointment. British films are usually well made, thoughtful, well-written and acted. This turkey has the American formula down pat. A confusing, nonsensical, fast-paced "plot" which hopes that you won't notice holes you could drive a truck through. The Brits do seem to have mastered the art of frequent explosions, fireballs, and speeding car chases though. Good cast wasted on this drivel. I could only stand to stay with it for one hour.
