From the cover the movie looks stupid but the story quickly becomes wacky & entertaining by the character's idiosyncrasies.

This is a very funny movie, and has a lot more laughs than the other two films in my "End of the World" trinity, Melancholia and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

Dark but funny. Ending was kind of a letdown, though.

This movie was brilliant. All the petty little sniping and foolishness of every day life and we see that that just doesn't stop for the end of the world. I loved when Julia stiles locks her friends out and gives her friend crap about showing up late, and how she wouldn't be locked out if she had shown up on time for once.

Much smarter than the slap-sticky "This Is the End". This film is a brains-over-bucks triumph.

As the world may be about to end eight friends met for their monthly brunch. Darkly hilarious - (winner of the "Audience Award").

Ferrera,Cross,Stiles...what a cast!! The acting is great, the writing is great and what an ending! Was not what I was expecting when I started watching this. It's dark, it's smart and it's funny. Even the 'late arrivers' scene was perfect. What a concept...... Sunday brunch and the end of the world. It is very much worth recommending. 4+ stars!
