the movie "moon" is much better than this was (they both have the same concept). I'd recommend watching "moon", however after watching this movie you'll probably know what happens at the end.

Good movie. Thought-provoking.

I wanted to like this movie but found it pretty dull and uninspiring. It just lacked any energy and I found myself fast forwarding through most of the movie. I wouldn't recommend it.

It was an interesting story, not expected. Tom Cruise has been surprising in his last few rolls. I liked the idea that was presented and the basic plot, it could have been better though. Worth a watch

it's not great when you can guess the big plot twist 2 minutes in, but at least they were trying. It's a watchable enough scifi movie, good visual - especially his aircraft, which was nicely designed and seemed viable. I kind of wish they hadn't bothered casting Morgan Freeman, in some ways having him appear in films is just a distraction... but that's just my opinion. Worth a look.

The stars for this movie go most mostly to the great graphics and cinematography of the film. Otherwise the film drags and I was never really clear on what was the point of the movie. The acting is good Morgan freeman and Tom Cruise do great as usually. But the film lacked action and didn't really capture my attention. I wouldn't watch it more than once.

Overall fun sci fi movie. Good production values, and it moved along pretty well. Kinds of a few plow holes/issues though. Why does a giant computer/robot need to suck all the water off of the earth? If it is for another living being it would be nice to see them. Why go to all the trouble of wiping humans out for our water when Neptune's volume is 72 times that of Earth's?

Good looking movie with some emotional highlights. Not a bad way to spend two hours.
