I enjoyed the film. It wasn't the expected comedy given that Tina Fey, Paul Rudd and Lily Tomlin were in it. But it was entertaining.

Tina Fey is hilarious as a tightly wound Princteon admissions officer, romanced (perhaps for ulterior motives?) by Paul Rudd, dean of a crunchy granola alternative school. Funniest scenes are those of desperate high schoolers and parents who will do absolutely ANYTHING to get into an Ivy League college.

Above average romantic dramedy. Sort of underachieves for the cast it has, but is a good option if you are forced to watch a chick flick. Unique story for this kind of movie. Ends well.

OVER RATED, POOR STORY LINE. CAN'T BELIEVE I WATCHED THE ENTIRE MOVIE. KEPT HOPING IT WOULD GET BETTER. NOT SURE WHO THE YOUNG STUDENT'S PARENTS WERE. LILLY TOMLIN'S ROLE WAS A SURPRISE. SHE WAS A TOUGH O'LE BROAD.

this was really good, I love Paul Rudd and Tina Fey is so funny in a subtle way. I thought it was pretty funny overall, some laugh out loud moments, but mostly it is very subtle. Lilly Tomlin is really good in this also. it was touching as well.

If you are looking for comedy this is not the movie for you, but it was worth watching.

I like both of the stars of the movie, but the movie was just ok. Not bad, but not great either. I don't feel that I wasted my time watching it, but I'm certainly not going to rave about it to anyone.

I enjoyed this movie, although it was not really what I expected. Not really a "comedy" in the way you might think of with Tina Fey in the leading role. The story was very engaging and the ending was not as predictable as you might expect from the way the story unfolds.

Well acted drama with some humor thrown in. However, what this movie is NOT is the typically hilarious type of Tina Fey movie that we have come to expect. So, if it is a true Tina Fey comedy that you desire to see, this may not be the movie for you. On the other hand, if you are expecting to see a feel good humorous drama, this film is great.
