Usually a big fan of DS easy read chic lit. This one was very slow going and predictable. Definitely my least favorite of hers.

this was the first (and will probably be the last) Danielle Steel book I've ever read. It is pretty juvenile. After almost every short conversation we are "treated" to an "analysis" of the feelings of the characters (usually Timmie) and the repetition is rife. By the first 50 pages, you have been told at least 5 times how hard she works, how she doesn't want man, how she is okay with her current relationship, how she is lonely but is okay with the status quo, blah blah blah. Of course, Miss Timmie is perfect-a tragic childhood which she braved through and became unbelievably successful, but is still haunted by her childhood fears. A wonder-woman in everyone's eyes. The plot is not too bad, but the whole thing is pretty much a given. The twist is the little boy she decides she is "in love with" after only a few days and seems overly grief stricken when she can't adopt him. PLLLLEEASE.

A typical Danielle Steel book about Timmie O'Neill who is nothing short of a superwoman - a woman who has had a horrible childhood and terrible luck as an adult but who turns all the adversity into positives.
The book proceeds very predictably and it is only in the last few pages that there is somewhat of a twist in the tale which makes the book worthwhile reading.

Danielle Steel repeats herself, as if the reader is extremely dumb. Got as far as 80 pages and gave up, never liked her writing but wanted to give it one more try.

Extremely repetitive!! To the point of being annoying.

Boring and very predictable. Seems nothing goes into any of her books lately. Used to really enjoy her but no more.
