I'll begin off by saying I'm a sucker for Zombie films, also, sadly enough I am also a sucker for Romantic Comedies. So sue me...

Warm Bodies managed to blend these 2 genres rather well while also mixing in quite a bit of action and even some suspense. The story in of itself was a little dry at times, but you get a sense of appreciation for R, especially so when you discover his weird but also interesting collection of items. Also, I would like to say his pad was amazing. I would love to live in a Commercial Jet.

Usually zombie movies will have a formula and often times, regrettably they'll end 1 of 2 ways. The Zombies all die off and life, although frail and teetering on the brink of extinction survives, or the zombie horde is completely overwhelming and destroys the human race slow and painfully before they [the Zombies] themselves die of starvation. This film did not come close to either of those options. Allow me to correct myself by saying, slightly but not fully. This is very much so worth a viewing at least if just to see Dave Franco get his face chewed off.

A great touch to the zombie film genre and while it does seem to play out as a Twilight type movie, it has a sense of what makes for a likeable and watchable flick. I loved the chemistry of the two acting leads and it is they who are the central focus of the picture and the story that is being told. You invest in the plight and struggle the two main characters endure to help the zombie male achieve his humanity.

One of those groundbreaking films that other directors and story writers will copy in years to come. Excellent storytelling excellent plot excellent acting, just excellent. It's not a chick flick but it is the story of Romeo and Juliet. With a twist that he's, you know.... a zombie. Lol

I did not think I would like this film, but It turned I turned out to love it.
I don't like Zombie movies but this film was far more then that. It is an interesting film with a little bit of action, a little bit of funny, a little bit of love, and a whole lot of interesting

This movie was both entertaining and heartwarming. The classic “Romeo and Juliet” love story was given a new feel with this post-apocalyptic couple. R is not your typical zombie. For one thing he has actual feelings like none of the others do. When he meets Julie he feels like his life (his afterlife that is) finally has purpose. Julie is one of the only human survivors left. After escaping an attack she finds herself under Rs care. Since R has feelings he tries to be compassionate to Julie and her situation but she finds it hard at first to let her guard down. Once they really get to know one another and realize they are no harm to each other the two begin their own adventure to escape something more malicious than R and the regular zombies. Their quest also includes convincing every one of their love. The movie is basically a romantic comedy for people who hate romantic comedies. Action, horror and comedy are all rolled into one with this unlikely love story. I thought there was overall good acting especially by Nicholas Hoult. The cinematography throughout the film was also impecible, many different shots were used, they were all very effective. All of the sets looked lifelike. Everything gave off an end of the world vibe, like all zombie movies should. I would recommend this movie to anyone really, as long as they can handle a little gore. Some parents might find the overall concept frightening however, so 13+ might be an appropriate age group.

Cute zombie love story with happy ending. Chick flick.

The movie warm bodies is based off the original book. its about a zombie apocalypse that has a very different ending than expected. the two main characters acting styles and personalities in the film compliment each others very nicely. the music in the film suites both a romantic comedy and also a horror movie and most times. the cinematography stays with a lot of close up shots to the characters and also wide angle shots (in front or behind the characters) when running or doing a lot of action. the props were based around guns, cars, a camera, and basic human stuff as well. as well as the record player that we see in the beginning of the film. the costumes suit the film very nicely and very much distinct the characters through out the entire film. the setting mostly takes place throughout the airport as well as the suburbs. then also in the big city. the main characters R and Julie have to be my favourite characters even when it got to the love story. the target audience would have to be anywhere from 13 to any age really above that. anywhere younger they might get scared through some parts. but overall it is your typical romantic comedy with a hint of horror. If you like this film I recommend that you also check out Now you see me. And further more if you think that zombie movies are awful and you don’t think that any movie will change your mind, watch this one.

Cute zombie-human movie. Does not follow the common zombie films, so those looking for that will be disappointed.

Julie: I actually miss him.
Nora: You... you miss... him...
Julie: I know, I'm so stupid.
Nora: Like... like you're attracted to him...
Julie: No, I don't...
Nora: Like... he could be your boyfriend? Your zombie... zombie boyfriend?
[pause]
Nora: I mean, I know it's really hard to meet guys right now, with the apocalypse and stuff. Trust me. And like I know that you miss Perry. But Julie, this is just weird. Like, I wish the internet was still working so I could just look up what whatever it is that's wrong with you.
