This Elizabeth Taylor double feature includes Father's Little Dividend; the sequel to Father of the Bride; and Life with Father. This rather disappointing (to me) "Elizabeth Taylor" double-feature DVD contains 2 of this radiant beauty's earlier films._____ Life With Father (from1947) is a Comedy whose story is set in the year 1883. The 15 year-old Taylor plays a young, NYC girl who reluctantly becomes the sweetheart of one of Clarence Day's strapping teenaged sons. There's conflicts and tears galore in this one._____ Father's Little Dividend (from 1951) has a 19 year-old Taylor playing a typical, American housewife (can you imagine that?) whose announced pregnancy sends her own father into a miserable snit just because he's not ready to be a grandfather. There's tears and misunderstandings galore in this Comedy/Chick Flick._____ All-in-all, I really didn't care much for either one of these films. They just weren't my cup of tea._____ Both films are in b&w.
