Add a CommentOver the top BICYCLE MESSENGER action flick. I will preface this by saying sadly that I really liked Quicksilver as a kid (for those who don't know for various reasons an 80's bike messenger Kevin Bacon vehicle) and liked this movie as well. Aparently a sucker for a bike messenger movie? Odd. Anyway, the bike stunts are fun. The movie is fast paced and never takes itself too seriously. Shannon is great as the degenerate antagonist. Levitt is just so darn likeable isn't he? Liked it.
premium rush was exactly not I didn"t feel one rush even when he had no brakes. and got hit hard on his bike. The movie is a big let down.
A friend recommended this movie to me so I had high expectations... which it did not meet at all. It could have been half decent if every other word wasn't s*@t... seriously got old after 5 minutes. And the bad cop was AWFUL. Was he seriously the best person they could find/afford? Those 2 aspects ruined it for me.
A entertaining and unique vehicle. Intence performances and swift action! Suspenceful interesting story. I enjoyed it. ( But... I ride these streets every day, and I think the 'No Brakes' brag is stupid !!)
Love this movie, that's really New York I can see in 2hrs!
I LOVE JGL, he is an awesome actor with so much range. this movie was really good, action packed and funny!! I laughed out loud many times, especially when he was trying to figure out the best escape routes! so clever and amusing. a little far-fetched as some are saying, but so what, it is a movie, they are meant to be un-realistic and take us away for a hour or so into the land of entertainment!
Contrived and ridiculous. A waste of time and talent (especially Michael Shannon). I see some positive comments here, but I felt it failed on all levels, including as an action movie. The repeated device of watching the anticipated outcome of different paths through traffic was cartoonish and embarrassing.
Loved this movie, except, there is just no way that 26" cop bike could catch up to a road bike.
Man, from the trailer, I expected something COMPLETELY different. I thought he was strapped onto the bike, like FORCED onto it, with no breaks or something. Anyway I was expecting so much more action, but it was alright. Joseph Gordon-Levitt hasn't failed me yet :)
the older video is better call quick silver
