It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

The first installment of the series with Christian Bale was completely original, but this 3rd installment seemed to be losing steam. I liked the supporting cast of Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway. I would have liked to see a few scenes where Hardy takes off the mask so that we could get a chance to see more of his acting abilities of this menacing character Bane.

One of the best Batman movies!

Tom Hardy steals the show as Batman's one true nemesis: Bane!

Not as good as The Dark Knight, But better than Batman Begins. Christopher Nolan was meant to do Batman.

I enjoyed this much better than the second batman movie but still nothing special here. The story is nothing great (is there one??), the villain is garbage, cat woman is idiotic, the bat toys are boring and batman has that awful voice. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you have seen the other two movies.

Try to avoid this one If possible.

Mild excitement. Weak plot. While this is a movie, I’m not sure if any police for that matter would simply run towards a group of villains shooting automatic weapons. The only good about this movie is the ending… ZZzzzzz….

A very intriguing story with some real bad-ass characters. Generally, the plot is very mind-blowing. Unfortunately I can not be convinced about all police get trapped into a tunnel like they are all too stupid to spread out their watch. Other not-very-viewable things are the slow fight scene (e.g. a group of men tackling batman but they wait for others to go down before attacking batman, like taking a rota to clean the floor). The flying bat mobile is totally a piece of vehicle I love to own one day. I don't think broken back (vertebral column) could be healed so soon without proper care. Catwoman is less charming than that of Michelle Pfeiffer who was really playful and obnoxious. Maybe it is a generation thing about my point of view. Yes, it is a good movie but with many holes. Don't kill me because I have a different opinion!

A fitting conclusion to the Christopher Nolan series of films dealing with Batman and his world. Tom Hardy gets my props as one of the most frightening villains ever in Bane, here portrayed far better than the Jeep Swenson version of Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin (1997) Every plot element ties together nicely. Anne Hathaway was a slinky and gorgeous Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. While it was a much darker story, all the key factors are present to make this a definitive Batman film.

I think this was my favorite from the trilogy and the only one with touches of humor in the midst of all the darkness and tragedy.

I’m simply not a fan of this version of Batman.

Bane: "...Ohhhh, you think darkness is your ally... But you merely adopted the dark... I was born in it! Molded by it... I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then it was nothing to me but BLINDING! (grabs Batman from the shadows and continues to beat him) The shadows betray you, because they belong to me! (repeatedly punches Batman in the face, breaking his cowl) I will show you where I have made my home whilst preparing to bring justice. Then, I will break you. (Hits detonator, blowing a hole into the bottom of Wayne Enterprise) Your precious armory, gratefully accepted! We will need it."
