Add a CommentI liked this one more than the second book in this series.
Don't want it to end.
Such a fun read!!! I enjoyed every minute of the book. The author captured the action so well my heart was pumping. Georgia and Shaun are my zombie world Katniss and Peeta.
first book, amazing, second book OMG AWESOME, final book, HOW can the plot thicken so close to the end??? absolutely INSANELY GREAT!!! and i'm not even a zombie fan! i'm a NEWSFLESH fan for life now! then they tell you there's an ebook-only, COUNTDOWN, that is a prequel, during the rising... not available in libraries... only 2.99 on amazon... it's a novella, MUST read it after this astounding journey! zombie fan or not, this is a MUST READ series.... contains adult language but otherwise teen-friendly...
Blackout is a great, very satisfying end to the story. The characters must wrestle with some very hard decisions and ask some tough questions, not just of their enemies but of themselves. Of course, they must also wrestle with some enemies. Including... okay, I'd better not say, but it's pretty sweet. Suffice to say, the action and fun keep coming, and all the twists and turns along the way are just awesome.
Though I am awfully sad to see this series come to an end, this book is excellent and wraps the story up satisfyingly.
