The clubbing-based theme kind of subtracted my two stars, but I loved the plot and the relationship between the father and daughter. I feel as if it was too short, and full circle came quicker than expected along with its predictability, because I wanted to see more. I was cheering when I saw Moose from the 3rd step up, I had a feeling it was him when I saw him, because I recgonized the style, and come towards the end-there he was. Go Moose, go! 3/5 stars for me! ;)

I loved this movie. Dance is not only performance, dance is a fascinating art. You feel the inspiration and a certain understanding. I wish that we could offer all the time when something bad happens as an exit way from a conflict, a dance performance that will bring the sparkle of humanity back.

Cliche movie about a handsome, well meaning, white, working class boy who saves a minority group threatened from wealty, white, business tycoon while fallling in love with his poor, little, rich, daughter. You wonder after so many movies would it kill Hollywood to put an Asian man as the lead this time? They're sure were plenty in the background as supporting characters or dancers. Then again maybe not even Harry Shum Jr. can save this movie's uninspired writing. Fear not! Avoid the trite plot with the ingenuis Feauturette secion's Mob Index. Hit "play all" of the Mob Index and it plays out only the movie's dance numbers in sequence. The dance numbers, which are clearly inspired by Improv Everywhere and other viral sensations are a feast for the eye and ears. Watching the bare, sinew muscles of the athletic, young, dancers move is worth the rent. By the way, Mia Micheals acting was wooden!

Boy girl dance movie. Boy meets girl, tension develops, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back. The "fromage" plot is predictable, but it works everytime. Lots of dancing from a "mob" of dancers.

Amazing movie!! I loved it! Each Step Up movie just gets better and better. That first mob was amazing and got me interested in the movie and what other mobs they were going to come up with. All of them were amazing!!! The museum one was so creative and surprising, and the last one was totally awesome! I really liked how they brought previous characters like Moose and Twitch back. Great movie!!
