This movie exceeded my expectations. <br><br>It is no less believable than other films of the genre, and in my opinion, does not cheapen the memory of Lincoln. Indeed, some actual quotes from Lincoln are artfully used, and still stirring. And a few historical facts and characters are woven into the story, although the filmmakers take extreme license with things.

Much better than I expected. I was expecting shock-schlock, but there was some effort put into the production which made it a solid B movie. Unbelievable? All vampire movies and books are unbelievable, but they make a fun genre. And I thought making the Civil War part of a more nefarious secret war on vampires, without sacrificing the underlying issues of the evils of slavery was deftly handled.

had to laugh reading some of the reviews below like "did not do lincoln justice" and "makes u feel like he's not a real person" lmfao. hello people, its not real! vampires do not exist in real life. good grief get a grip!..... oh & what a terrible film. bored us sick. actually fell asleep during it. thanlful i didnt pay to see it. mama the turkeys done!
Really good! Cool fight scenes! Right out of my history textbook (everyone seems to skip the vampire chapter)! It was wicked. Take that Twilight! Putting vampires back in their rightful place!
Above average as a fantasy/action film. Good special effects and fight choreography (some of the CGI looked bad, but not REALLY bad) were the highlights. The lowlights were a stupid storyline and a lot of moments that just felt to serious to be in such a goofy movie. Was entertaining as a pure action flick. Not as good as I'd hoped.
Far-fetched fun ! Over the top special effects !... For me it was like "Cowboys and Aliens" . Once I suspend any disbelief or seriousness, there's a lot of light-hearted enjoyment.
Loved it...what a blast! SCARY vampires...Lincoln was cool! Very good special effects. Of course it isn't supposed to be real...have some fun and sit back and enjoy the ride!
