Add a CommentI learned to splat-cock a chicken from this book! . Perelman gives terrific advice. Who knew it was best to skip the big fat chickens and buy the small ones instead. The apple cake is yummy too.
We've added several recipes from this lovely book to our menu rotation at home - the Sesame-Spiced Turkey Meatballs and Smashed Chickpea Salad are particularly delicious, as are the Apple Cider Caramels.
Really enjoy this cookbook and the recipes are really accessible. Great photography too. Love it when cookbooks have it...makes all the difference! Recommend!
Yum.
From the tiny kitchen of a celebrated food blogger.
Deb Perelman's blog has been a huge favourite for years. I cannot wait to get hold of this book. See smittenkitchen.com for some teasers.
