I was completely intrigued by this book in the beginning but slowly lost interest. Peter and Nao’s relationship lacked chemistry and I felt as if Amanda’s character was unnecessary or maybe undeveloped. Each character's background was pretty vague and it seemed like the author rushed through the book because issues regarding Amanda were never resolved. Although i must admit, Nao is a pretty cool character. Could have been better if the author went into depth with each character and maybe played around with Peter and Nao's relationship a bit.

Sixteen-year-old Noa is on her own. Using her computer hacker skills to evade the foster system, Noa lives off the grid to stay safe. But then she is caught. Waking up in an empty room with an IV in her arm, Noa knows that the doctors are lying to her about how she got there. Meanwhile... Best hacker fiction since Gibson's "Burning Chrome" --- and probably better. Much superior to the "adult category" drivel, written by investment bankers for investment bankers (and haven't we had enough of bankers already ? ? ?). Only downside: published by a Rupert Murdoch company ...
