Add a CommentJoey Jordan has spent years training as a gymnast but, at 14, she's discovering that her life isn't as simple as it used to be. Her best friend and top gymnast, Alex, isn't showing up for practice and Joey has spotted her with a boy. Joey knows from her older sister's experience that success in gymnastics and boyfriends don't work out well. Joey is also frustrated by some of the routines that her coach has given her and discouraged about her chances of winning gold at Regionals. When an old friend, Tanner, moves back and shows an interest in her, Joey is torn between a boyfriend and gymnastics. She wants to have them both. Reviewed by BPL volunteer LS
