Add a CommentFirst time reading this author. Loved the characters and the story. May have been "predictable" but it still had a few turns that were unexpected. Would recommend it to friends. Will look for other books by Mary KayAndrews.
This author's books are quite predictable but the writing is good, the characters are interesting and the books make for a good quickie read. Good for those times you don't want a heavy subject matter.
Pennie Clark Ianniciello, Costco's book buyer, has chosen Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews as her pick of the month for June 2012 - a great beach-read. "Annajane Hudgens is four years divorced and seemingly over her ex, Mason Bayless. In fact, she's engaged and ready to leave the small town that holds so much of her history. But when Mason's second marriage is stopped as his intended walks down the aisle with someone else, Annajane wonders if she's been given a second chance. "Oozing with Southern charm and packed with delightful characters, this is a go-to summer book."
