I wasted my time reading this time-travel horror novel. I did, however, enjoy Koontz's excellent use of simile and metaphor throughout his story.
Unlike general consensus, I am n ot sure this one goes down as a "best" for me in the Odd Thomas series. However, there are many elements I loved coming across, some references to old characters/spooks. I particularly liked the inclusion of Nikola Tesla. A great book, and I anxiously await the next in the series. Koontz has done it again!
Totally excellent. Best Koontz book in a while. If Odd Thomas character is new to you, treat yourself and start at the beginning of the series. You won't be sorry.
Very intriguing storyline, but then all the Odd books have interesting tales to tell.
Thouroughly engrossing.Couldn't put it down.Koontz at his best!!!!
Dryer and dryer...weirder and weirder, Odd one.
Avery good Odd Thomas book, supposedly the 5th of 7 books. After his last book, which was the hugely unpopular 77 Shadow Street, this puts Koontz back on the winning track. In this one, he and the weird pregnant girl, Annamarie, from the last book are staying at a weird place with lots of evil all around. There is a strange Tesla-time-travel element to this story and it will be liked and appreciated by all "Odd-Thomas" fans. Great book!
I was disappointed in the last Odd Thomas novel, but with this one, Koontz is back in fine form. It's both funny and thrilling and I couldn't put it down.
A new Odd Thomas book!!! Yay! Can't wait to read it.
