I have to say I like this installment more than the first two because you finally get to learn more of the story of Christian's past and you see Ana take a slightly firmer stance than she has in the past. The emotional depth is greater and more nuanced and you see the progression Christian has made. If you made it through the first two, it is worth it to continue on to the third. It's the best of the trilogy.
At best this trilogy is uneven. Sometimes the writing is pretty good other times not. But this last book is the most tame of the three. The relationship between Anastasia and Christian has meaning and form and there is love as well as respect. Outside of all of the raunchy sex there is a sweetness and wit that keeps the reader interested. Overall I rate this trilogy a B
Slightly more suspense which made it better to read than the first two. She still hasn't learned how to write and her lack of correct grammar and Americanisms (she's a British author) made it impossible for these characters to be believable.
A somewhat mild suspense mystery held the story. Basically a progession of a relationship and start of a marriage tale.
