OMG. I really enjoyed this book! Lady Elect Arykah Miles-Howell was not a member of the Freedom Temple Church of God in Christ, so when Bishop Lance Howell introduced her as his new wife the Mother Elders had a huge problem with her. She tried to be the best First Lady that she could be, but was always met with adversity. The Mothers tried so many different ways to get her away from the Bishop. Lady Arykah ended up being physically hurt at the hands of someone known to the church Mothers.
