Ottway (despondent, to God): "...Do something. ...Do something. ...You phony, prick, fraudulent, motherf*cker. DO SOMETHING!! COME ON!! PROVE IT!! F*CK FAITH!! EARN IT!! SHOW ME SOMETHING REAL!! I NEED IT NOW!! NOT LATER!! NOW!! SHOW ME AND I'LL... believe in you 'til the day I die! ...I swear! ...I'm callin' on ya! ...I'M CALLIN' ON YA!! (silence) ...F*ck it... I'll do it myself... I'll do it myself..."
Ottway (voiceover): "There's not a second goes by when I'm not thinkin' of you in some way... I want to see your face, feel your hands in mine, feel you against me... But I know that will never be... You left me... and I can't get you back... I move like I imagine the damned do, cursed... And I feel like it's only a matter of time... I don't know why I'm writing this. I don't know, what can come of it... I know I can't get you back... I don't know why this has happened to us. I feel like it's me. Bad luck. Poison... And I've stopped doing this world any real good... Once more into the fray... Into the last good fight I'll ever know... (puts rifle barrel into his mouth, a wolf howls) Live and die on this day... Live, and die, on this day..."
Ottway (voiceover): "A job at the end of the world... A salaried killer for a big petroleum company... I don't know why I did half the things I've done... but I know this is where I belong... surrounded by my own... ex-cons... fugitives... drifters... assholes... men unfit for mankind..."
" Wild animals live in hard conditions , struggle and fight to their last breath for the survival, they are inspiration to the men in tough sittuations. "
Diaz: I got a book. It's called "We're all f**ked". It's a bestseller.
Ottway: We're going to get a large branch and sharpen the end of it, and we're going to shove it up this thing's ass. Then we're going to eat it.
Ottway: F**k faith! Prove yourself!

Add a CommentI absolutely loved this movie. I went in with low expectations but came out a fan. I find a lot of peoples gripes about the movie I felt the opposite.
There were many parts I felt in suspense watching the movie, but I don't think it lived up to the hype. The acting was average. The movie didn't seem very realistic and I was a bit annoyed that it really didn't go to far in the character development. Frankly the ending was the best.
Normally when I am watching a movie I can suspend my disbelief but with this movie if you know anything about wolves it is just stupid. Basically it is the movie Jaws on land
um. no boring. extra, extra boring. at first intriging to listen to Liam explain his life etc. but from the plane crash on idc about any of them. the cgi wolf was HORRIFIC. i felt for at least *some of the shots they could have used a real animal. but all of them were so obviously fake it took me out of the movie and whatever interest i had going. fast forwarded the entire thing. the ending was perfect thou. Liam was excellent thou. too bad the rest was so boring.
Survivors of an arctic plane crash try to survive against the cold and a pack of vicious wolves. If all you can do is to help comfort the dying, do it well. The survivors were so beat up after the crash that I never even realized that one of them was played by Dermot Mulroney.
I was on the edge of my seat while watching this flick. Great movie thanks Clevnet
very good
A grim, ethereal story of survival... of broken bodies, and broken spirits. The likes of which I haven't seen commercially from Hollywood in a long time. A solid role for Liam Neeson. My compliments to co-writer and director Joe Carnahan. It worked for me. Well done. FIVE STARS.
watched on Netflix instant. Good plot. Solid performance by Liam. The ending was a bit of a let down. But, that's the way it needed to go.
This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. “Not too bad---good performance”. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”
