Just another nearly 2 hour ADVERTISEMENT of Corporate AmeriKKKa companies only that are extremely successful and FUNDED by the historical and modern day slavery of black people period. This is blatantly Military and RACIST police department recruitment for black males in the USA also because the majority of black males in real life without a jail record in the USA ages 16 and older cannot find jobs in the USA by DEEPLY RACIST design period. The purpose of this so-called movie's DEEPLY RACIST military and NYPD recruitment is for more black males than ever before to get KILLED by a RACIST cop and a RACIST fellow soldier so the RACISTS that owns the USA military and NYPD can call those so-called accidental but covert HATE crime based murderous deaths ''FRIENDLY FIRE''.This means no financial benefits at all for the black families of these RACIALLY murdered black males in uniform aka DEEPLY RACIST business as usual,BUT YOU DON'T HEAR ME THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comfy-comical feel-good heart-warming happenings on one New Year's Eve in NYC. There is a message throughout and at the end of the film (see quote).

I found this film enjoyable, nothing more. I didn't find it to be especially funny, the comedy seemed a bit forced actually. There were some touching, sweet moments and I appreciated the lack of swearing throughout. Overall it was decent but not in any way rave-worthy.

Maybe it got better as it went along but I was only able to give it nine and a half minutes before I took it out of my player. NEXT!

What a lame-o movie. We usually give movies 20 minutes to grab us. I would've switched off right then but my husband wanted to watch a bit longer. About half an hour or 40 min. in, he, too, realized that no, this was never going to get any better. Terrible script, terrible acting, improbable situations and people trying way too hard to be funny. Very strained and awful. Cringe-inducing. Not worth any time at all out of your life - you will never get back the minutes you spend watching this. If you want to see a GOOD movie kind of like this, get Love Actually instead. That is how it's done, my friends. (And even that has its lame-o moments. It's hard to tell several different stories in a movie and make each story worthy.)

Fair – New Year’s Eve (2011) 118 min. To think with such a cast, they could find something better for these actors to do. The film never takes root and stays very safe throughout as though the studio execs needed to rush through a 2 hour film and not have to think about it. The comedy is very tame; the plot is very forgettable. There are some sentimental moments in the film that left me hanging. Not a bad film to watch while flipping through a magazine.

I expected to be disappointed with this movie. But I wasn't. Chick-flick, no doubt. But it kept this manly man interested through the end.

Sam: Sometimes it feels like there are so many things in this world we can't control: Earthquakes, floods, reality shows. But it's important to remember the things we can ... like forgiveness, second chances, fresh starts. Because the one thing that turns the world from a lonely place to a beautiful place is love. Love in any of its forms. Love gives us hope. Hope for the New Year. That's New Year Eve to me: Hope ... and a great party.
