Before I read it, I thought that Take a Bow would just be another one of those cliché books about kids who go to a performing arts high school. Boy, I was dead wrong. The characters were believable, and the writing style was great- nothing ever felt forced. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a good read.

Beautifully written novel. I personally love any good read that incorporates some music into it, so Eulberg's novel was an instant favorite of mine.

Elizabeth Eulberg is an AMAZING author. First the Lonely Hearts Club, then Prom and Prejudice and now Take a Bow. They were all really great books. They just keep getting better. I loved this book! I liked how it alternated between the character's points of view. I liked the plot and the characters. This was a wonderful book and I highly recommend it.

Eulberg takes us to the little explored world of music magnet schools. Readers follow the lives of Emme, Sophie, Ethan and Carter. Over the course of the novel, the four of them mature and they begin to experience music outside the safety of their high school lives. With betrayal is just around the corner, you never know who are you true friends and whose just a poser. As they struggle with music college auditions, hearts are broken and new relationships are formed. But will all of them end up in a happy ending?

"Emme, Sophie, Ethan, and Carter are seniors at a performing arts school, getting ready for their Senior Showcase recital, where the pressure is on to appeal to colleges, dance academies, and professionals in show business. For Sophie, a singer, it's been great to be friends with Emme, who composes songs for her, and to date Carter, soap opera heartthrob who gets plenty of press coverage. Emme and Ethan have been in a band together through all four years of school, but wonder if they could be more than just friends and bandmates. Carter has been acting since he was a baby, and isn't sure how to admit that he'd rather paint than perform. The Senior Showcase is going to make or break each of the four, in a funny, touching, spectacular finale that only Elizabeth Eulberg could perform." -Taken from Goodreads
