Add a CommentA typical Carl Hiaason book- pro-nature, full of the everglades, with spicy characters and a fun plot. The language isn't so clean, but nothing terrible, and it's a great story
Best Carl Hiaasen book you'll ever read!! I recommend this book over all the other books in the series. I hope he comes out with another one soon.
wanna read this!! :)
Read!
This book was more for younger readers. It was very simple and I usually don't enjoy Carl Hiaasen.
At last! Another hilarious Everglades adventure from Carl Hiaasen! Like the others in the series, this one is lots of fun, both for its intended tween audience, as well as the parents. Chomp takes deserved pot-shots at the "reality" TV industry and the so-called animal lover hosts who go out of their way to annoy creatures who just want to be left alone. The animals and their human environmentalist pals come up trumps at the end, but not before their TV nemeses get taken down several pegs on the humility scale. A very fun read.
Lemme just say that I love all of Carl Hiaasen's books - they got me interested in nature and animals and protecting the wild-life and such. This was AWESOME! Wahoo and Tuna are funny and smart at the same time; I especially love how Wahoo is protective of his father. The ending was sweet and nice (not to mention a bit surprising, as well).
BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I positively LOVED it! It's awesome!!! I totally recommend it to everyone!!!!!!!! :)
