Technically, this movie is top-notch. The integration of live humans and animated characters was seamless, such that you forget that E.B. is an animated character in many of the scenes. Story-wise, however, it's not as good as your average Disney movie. it doesn't generate much excitement; nor is it especially funny; nor is the story as well-thought out as other Disney films; nor is the message as well demonstrated.
This is a wonderful family movie! It was entertaining enough to hold the attention of my 4-year old granddaughter, who danced to all the music, and interesting enough for the adults to enjoy. We liked it enough that we will be purchasing a copy so we can enjoy it often.
