i found the premise of evil angels coming to earth from another planet. they are just like vampires: they feed on gullible human energy, instead of blood, like vampires have done all through the ages. our heroine, willow, is a teen girl, who is most definitely not a popular girl in her high school. she also knows how to work on cars, something most teen females can't brag about .... at least in willow's school. anyway, through a series of events she discovers that she is part angel .... luckily, for her, a good angel. she also meets up with alex, also a teen. his job is to track down and kill all the evil angels that he can. i really liked the fact that willow started out as an independent, intelligent, self-sufficient, not in the popular crowd kind of girl. again, though a series of events, alex and willow find themselves on the run. the more that alex and willow were together, the more she started to worry and fret, worry and fret. this charateristic got real boring, really fast. where did our independent girl go? willow also started to depend on alex .... to make decisions for both of them. hello? what happened to willow's capacity for making decisions for herself, without a man around telling her what to do? this, in essence, just does not add up .... esp. since this is a book set in a slightly futuristic world, where females of all backgrounds would know how to kick butt and be more forthright, unlike the more victorian era swooning willow. where is her free will? why does the author "railroad" willow into more traditional female roles? it also reminds me of really awful "romances," that always has the woman sash-saying to a man's ego, which results with him always making the decisions for them. this spoiled the book for me .... i much prefer, being a ardent feminist, to read books with thinking, intelligent females. who make their own decisions, and don't let some man take over and order them around. this sentiment above actually reflects today's world. so .... for those who are interested in this concept of angels, will probably like this book 'till halfway. for those who absolutely despise female characters giving up their own decision making process to a male, avoid this fantasy novel .... as a parting thought, i am really wonderful what the author was thinking when she wrote this novel?

I hate this book >:( Okay, so yah, I haven't exactly finished it but Im at the part where Alex and Willow have their 'break up'. I actually cried :( run away, stupid Willow. I would punch Seb so hard in the face, that his nose would bleed. He ruined everything.

What is the name of the 3rd book? When does it come out?
