Enthusiastic and willful over the top zombie film that plays remarkably well with splatter, schlock, and bad taste -- and manages to keep topping itself. Willing viewers no longer suspend disbelief they agree to jump in and play along with the director, let him push those buttons. But if there were anything left to transgress this film would likely , transgress it, and if you have little transgression/taboo zones you may have all kinds of other reactions, but the film is fun and good film making. I'm going to give Tokyo Gore Police a try. My only quibble is that for me, despite a relentless crescendo of action and ideas, many individual scenes/shots are too long and throw off the rhythm. Maybe the director was having too much fun, but rhythm is very, very important.

Mmm ... Oh, dear, how will be ever hide this from the children? Well, you won't. Your children have already seen this. And they laughed all the way through it. No, that doesn't make them moral monsters, it just means they like bad movies filled with foolishness and blood. Gore is the game, and it's called "Can you top this?"

Bloody gore fest with zombies and aliens. Funny with in your face geysers of blood. Not for the sqeamish or unaquainted.
