Add a CommentAll I have to say is: wow. This book has a unique twist to the idea of life and death....and it pulls on a few of your heartstrings at the same time. I'm a tough cookie....I never cry while reading books, but I'm ashamed and in awe to say that I teared up while reading this. A must-read!!! :)
What would it be like to literally have your heartbroken? Apparently it would suck. This book is all over the place, which I enjoyed. It wasn't necessarily disjointed, there was just a lot of story, and the order is not chronological. Very touching, funny, sad. To see how the death of a child causes a family to spiral out of control, from the child's point of view, was quite crazy. Jess Rothenberg's take on where we go once we die, is quite fascinating as well. All in all, great love story.
This book is AMAZING. I have no words to actually describe this book. My heart ripped apart so many times. It's so beautifully written and every chapter opens up a new surprise. I guess, this book teaches you not to so easily jump to conclusions about someone and to maybe reflect and understand that sometimes there's always a reason. Can't wait to read future books written by Jess Rothenberg.
oh my god, best book i have ever read in a long long time! so many twists and turns, always keeping you on you rtoes. I suggest if you want to read something worthwhile, this is the book for you! AMAZING! :)
Cheese has never been so good! This book is gorgeous, funny, heartbreaking and enlightening
The book takes a fascinating and unique approach to the classic love story by following the main character, Brie, into the afterlife when she literally dies of a broken heart.
