Well what can i say - i was quite disappointed in this book - it lacked a good ending. Even though it was primarily about Gabe it still lacked her usual style something is missing in this book.

Not one of her best--the focus was much more on their foster son Gabe and his girlfriend than on Peter and Rina. If I wanted to read teen romances, I'd read teen romances!

A good Decker/Lazarus novel with the usual police and Jewish family contradictions and problems. A good twist is that the main character in this book is the kid that they have let move in to their house. He is a 14 year old piano prodigy who is studying at USC and has been accepted at Julliard and Harvard. He also happens to be the child of a mobster father who's sometimes crazy, who also had serious run-ins with Decker who was protecting the child's mother. Mother took off to India and Dad is running brothels in Vegas so the Deckers have become temporary foster parents so Gabriel can hone his massive musical skills and have a reasonably safe home environment, which both of his parents know the Decker's have only Gabe's well-being and nurturing as their priority. But, something happens at the beginning of the book to Gabe that puts him in danger and he's not able to tell Peter ot Rina. A good read.

I love these characters. Good plot and read.

Another goodie from Kellerman. Howver, this book is not one of her better ones. Not so many twists/turns/unexpectedness. Nonetheless, it was still an enjoyable read.

Check out her early books first before reading this one.
