Add a CommentJennifer Crusie is one of my favorite authors and this book is an excellent sample of her work and one of the reasons I love her. The story of Daisy Flattery and Lincoln Blaise is fabulous. It's funny and moving. It includes far-from-perfect (but lovable) animals and a great cast of characters. And once I started it, it was impossible to stop: I just had to read it straight through. It never fails; Crusie books always keep me hooked until the end. And the journey to that end is always highly entertaining.
