Add a Comment“Friends with Benefits” attempts to give the romance movie a modern feel. Yet, it is one cliché after another. This is simply the most unbearably cheesy film I have seen in a long while. The only redeeming factor was Richard Jenkins (the father).
Turned it off after a half hour.. Nothing to grab your attention and make you really care about the characters..
Loved the story, loved the soundtrack.
I watched the first half, then turned it off to watch the news. I had to make myself continue with the movie - and did so while doing chores - you won't miss anything skipping the dialog - the best was seeing scenes of New York City!
OK, but not much more. Give it a 2 1/2. I watched it all the way through so it held that much attention, but nothing exceptonal ever happened
good
cute show (as in mindless entertainment) if you can get past all the sex scenes. But with a title of "Friend with Benefits" I don't know why I was expecting something other than sex. Which is too bad, it could have been a good movie if they played on the relationship development more. I thought this was going to be a chick flick, watched it with my mother - oh embarrassing!
Diverting "fun" movie. No new film making or storytelling ground is broken, but it fit the bill for mindless distraction. I dont get why everyone thinks Timberlake is so handsome. He is a fair actor tho.
This movie is awful.
Boring
