Based on the first two seasons of the show, this book delves into the history behind the series. It gave me a deeper understanding of why certain plot points were important.

A great look at the world of Downton Abbey! Even if you just read the text that accompanies the many pictures you will feel like you have had a peek behind the scenes of the show, and into the world of "Downton" in the early 20th century.

What a treat for fans of Downton Abbey! This lavish coffee table book is crammed with fascinating details about how life was lived by families and servants in England’s Great Houses. There are references to the important events and figures of the time with fascinating photographs and illustrations from the period. Interwoven with the text about historical context are stunning photographs of the actors with quotes and comments illuminating their characters and experiences while filming the TV series.

A look into the life of all classes of society at the end of the Edwardian era in England. Interesting facts and very good photography. This would be a good reference book for students in middle school who were studying this era in history.
