Add a QuoteDana: Your girlfriend's pretty clever. For her last meal she asked for a McRib and a Shamrock Shake. That should buy her a few months. Those two are almost never available at the same limited time.
Jimmy Chance: Hey, I talked to a cute girl at the grocery store yesterday. Burt Chance: Has she killed anyone?
Virginia Chance: I'm listening, so you get back in there and stop procrasturbating.

Add a CommentI really wish there were more seasons.
This is just a good, solid sit com. I want to watch season two. I laughed alot and the show held my interest. I'd like to see if it stays funny or loses steam. Even when the episodes try to tug at an emotional heartstring every now and again, I felt like they did a decent job. A bit off, but in a good way. Think in the spirit of Married With Children or It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia...
The show is great! Consistently the funniest sitcom I've seen in ages. Cloris Leachman deserves an emmy. The family is "dysfunctional" and learning to be functionable. It has heart and growth. The comedy is more sophisticated than just joke after joke. You genuinely like these people even as you shake your head...not with superiority but more with affection...and hope.
I appreciate this shows irreverent sense of humor. Its a little weird, which I really like in a show and isn't afraid to take some risks. At the same time I lost interest after a few episodes - with so many actually great shows to watch this one wasn't really worth the time.
I absolutely love this show and am so glad to have a dysfunctional family comedy back on FOX, as they are the only station that could pull it off. I would highly recommend this to fans of shows like Married With Children and My Name Is Earl.
