Young Marty Preston lives in a remote rural community. There's not much to do during summer vacation but shoot cans and hang out with Sam, who's not too bad even if she is a girl. But Marty finds a purpose to his life when he meets a beaten and frightened beagle he names Shiloh and decides to fight to keep him from being returned to his abusive owner.

This movie is nothing like the book plus it is scratched up...i dont recomend anyone to take this out. :(

Great movie for all ages this has been the first movie I have seen even though it is not like the book in many ways it is still a good movie and think about this.... how many books are exactly like the movie..... still great movie though :)
