I read the book after watching the first 3 seasons of the AMC show. Compared to the show, the settings are the same (Atlanta, the camp, etc), but the characters are a lot different so it changes the story completely... and not in a bad way.

If you love the show, you should totally read the books. It's also a great read for the summer or a busy schedule because it's easy to start and stop without feeling lost.

Horrible! Just horribly sexist and written. I couldn't get past the fact that Lori knew she couldn't get past the first year of college and simply dropped out. I would love to say the show and the novels are two different things. Sadly, the same vein of sexism holds true in the show.

Great series, love love love it!

Great series. Well written, and well illustrated. An imposing subject (apocolypse) is turned into a bigger nightmare with the addition of zombies. Society collapses...

The comment below about sexism is misplaced, and shows how little that person understands the real world.

A great zombie comic. After I finished reading it, I was afraid to walk in to another room in fear of finding a zombie there! ;D
I would like to read the next installment, but I think I'd be too scared. hehe.

Zombies! "Rich with complex characters and situations, full of gasp-inducing plot twists, it's no wonder AMC chose to make a TV series based on this graphic novel series."
