Add a CommentExcellent Kathy Reichs novel. Interesting plot & not over done on the NASCAR racing scene. Very interesting characters & a novel you can leave for awhile & just pick up where you left off.
Tempe is on another case. It's Reich's 14th novel in the series I think. This one is set in Charlotte, her home base. It deals with right wing extremists and Nascar races. It starts with a body found in a dump in a barrel filled with asphalt. Another good read.
Not one of Dr. Reich’s best efforts. Very short of the usual forensic details of her earlier books. Senior Doctor-at-Bass! D. A.
Kindof short for this author/series.
Read the book - it was ok but I do not like this writer.
I have to say I found the plot for this book a little thin on the forensic details and the plot just didn't seem as exciting as Reich's other books. Still it was an enjoyable read and I love the character Temperance Brennan.
Another Kathy Reichs book. Not one of her best. It was enjoyable while it lasted, but I have forgotten exactly what it was about..... not a gripping story line.
I enjoy Reich's books, but I think this is one case where the television version is better than the book. I don't like the book version of Temperance Brennan. I think Bones does a better job of developing characters and making them relatable.
Reichs has written some well-crafted entertaining books. This is not one of them! This book depends on filler more than on a cleverly crafted story. She either needs to stop "mailing it in" or retire the series and try something new.
Not so keen.
