Comment
Add a CommentThis book was written clearly to try and scrape out of the terrible and horrifying ending from"undead and Unfinished". It wasn't thought out and badly written.
Agree with most of the other comments. I found this erratic, confusing and the characters were flat and uninteresting. I'm not sure I can bring myself to read the next one.
Read it if you have read the series, but do NOT spend money for this book. Fast read because you skim thru Betsey's mental run-on dialogue for most of the book until the last few chapters - which were surprisingly good.
Good book, not awesome but not bad.
Confusing, annoying, plotless, poorly written... Ok so I'm not expecting great literature from this series but an actual plot line, interesting dialogue and characters would help a lot. The characters are getting more and more irritating and the writing is incredibly juvenile. I found myself re-reading some sections a few times because it made no sense! Too bad because this series was fun to read... at first...
Not a great addition to the series. Most of the dialogue and plot is getting worn out.
Not the greatest in the series, the end sets it up nicely for the next book. Kinda short, a quick read.
After the last novel I wasn't so sure I'd want to continue reading this series. Time travel just makes stories more confusing than they have to be. Apparently the fear was warranted because this is the "2nd in a trilogy" in the middle of the series. A lot happens that doesn't make sense, doesn't have a point or both. I hope the next one is an improvement.
Painful. Confusing. Plot-less. Infuriating. Idiotic. Betrayal. Waste of time. Those are just some of the descriptors that come to mind when describing this book. Oh, MaryJanice, how far you have fallen. I don’t even feel guilty when I say I will not be continuing in this series.
