Both the writing and message of the book was good, but it was quite predictable from start to finish so that did take away from the impact/seriousness of it. Overall, well written though and I'd recommend it.

This book was very good, but also VERY scary. It had my heart pounding until the very end. A sad and extremely emotional story about verbal and physical abuse in teen relationships. This book could be a real wake-up call for someone and I HIGHLY recommend it to any teen girl in a serious, involved relationship.

I would definetly recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic stories espeacailly highschool romance. The main character alex was very easy to connect with a real life behaviour of a teenager. All the characters are played well, but the reason why I didnt rate it full 5 stars is because some parts of the novel, the is widley exagerated. Over all, it is a very good book, and is kind of like a mystery as well cause it just gets unexpected, and keeps you hook. Also very well written!

I appreciate the information about abuse in the end of the book that may be particularly helpful for teens who are or who know someone experiencing abuse in a relationship. Unfortunately, the book and story itself were not amazingly enthralling or engaging. Writing felt a little superficial and the characters didn't grab me. A little bit too long of a book--could have more impact if shorter.

I found this a great book. Really shun some light on relationship abuse in teens. Alex was relatable and overall the book kept you interested.
